Riga is waiting for 5000 guests this June

Dear CSIT friends,

We would like to provide you an update regarding some numbers related to the CSIT World Sports Games 2017. We all are very much excited and waiting for June impatiently!

Currently the number of people who have registered (including athletes, accompanying persons and officials) has reached 3000 already and keeps growing. We have participants from 35 countries all around the world. This is great news!

Currently the most popular sports disciplines are Mini-football, Football, Swimming, Volleyball and Basketball.  We are still waiting for more applications for such disciplines as e.g.  Petanque, Beach wrestling, Chess, Beach tennis.

During the CSIT World Sports Games 2017 Mamanet players are planning to set a Guinness record playing on 50 courts.

Also, World O-Sport Federation WOF is organising O-Sport World Cup during the CSIT World Sports Games in Riga.

We have an interesting programme for seniors (55+), which includes different activities:

  • Walking football
  • Percu’gym and bumper to fall (Gymnastic with music and drumsticks)
  • Mamanet GOLD (New ways of playing volleyball for seniors)
  • Krolf
  • Warming-up
  • Senior GYM
  • bodyART
  • Koordination 2.0

So, as you can see with every new day we get one step closer to the World Sports Games.
