WSG 2017 – Registration Deadline 7th of May

It´s only seven weeks till the opening ceremony of 5th CSIT World Sports Games (WSG) from 13th to 18th June, 2017 in Riga (Latvia).

The registration of international guests is very satisfying so far. The number of participants is as high as at the last Games 2015 in Lignano. Nevertheless, the gate for Riga 2017 is closing. The definitive registration deadline for the WSG is 7th of May. If you want to join the Games , please use the online-registration-platform „Sportcare-Nesea“.

ATTENTION!
You are only finally registered, if all financial obligations are fullfilled with May 7th! Not respecting this deadline will cause 30% of penalty fees on all costs according to CSIT articles!

PICTURES UPLOAD!
We strongly recommend: Don´t forget to upload your pictures into the platform due to following reasons: 1 – You can shorten your waiting time at the Games Accreditation Center; 2 – You can avoid misuse due to security reasons and the high security standard in Latvia.

In view of obtaining visa, please do not hesitate to contact Baltic CSIT member union and WSG host Latvian Sport for All Association (LTSA) directly via LTSA@riga.lv. Following recommendations and steps are of importance: 1 – apply for a visa as soon as your participation is confirmed; 2 – inquire at the embassy about procedure and documents; 3 – set an appointment with the embassy in advance; 4 – apply in person in order to give your fingerprints; 5 – take into account the “WSG Cancellation Policy”.

WSG2017-APP ready for download soon
CSIT is one the oldest sports organisations worldwide, older than 100 years. On the other side CSIT is a dynamic organisation with modern standards. CSIT created the “WSG2017-APP for Smartphones” specially for the World Sports Games 2017 in Riga, which is ready for download soon! The new APP informs about disciplines, schedule, results, venues, transport and all social and cultural events during the WSG 2017, easy and quick. The WSG2017-APP is available even in the apple store and several stores of android smartphones.

Less then half a year, only five months are left, till the opening ceremony for the 5th CSIT World Sports Games (WSG) from 13th to 18th June, 2017 in Riga (Latvia). Preliminary Registration Deadline for the WSG is on February 15th. All information is available on the official WSG Webpage in English, French and Latvian.
Registration Procedures – Please register in time!
Please register via CSIT on-line Registration-Platform. Just indicate the number of persons, gender, sport disciplines, hotel categories, estimated date of arrival as well as departure and transfer 50% pre-payments of the expected total sum. Important Information – Timetable
The Baltic CSIT member union and WSG host Latvian Sport for All Association (LTSA) is confirming that the Opening Ceremony of the WSG 2017 will be on Tuesday, 13th June 2017. Competitions will be held from Wednesday, 14th June 2017 till Saturday, 17th June 2017. The Closing Ceremony will be on Saturday, 17th June 2017. Planned Departure Day for the delegations is 18th June 2017. Participants can arrive earlier than the 13rdand depart later than 18th of June under very attractive conditions.

The Latvian Sport for All Association is excited to host the 5th CSIT World Sports Games in Riga. The capital of Latvia is welcoming CSIT, its World Sports Games, the international Workers & Amateur Sports Movement and the several thousands of sports amateurs from all over the world to practice and compete in sports and sports for all activities in best atmosphere and conditions.

The Baltic CSIT member union Latvian Sport for All Association – LTSA will be host of the V. CSIT WORLD SPORTS GAMES, to be held in the city of Riga from 13thto 18th of June, 2017. The capital city of Latvia, Riga is welcoming CSIT, its World Sports Games, the International Workers & Amateur Sports Movement and the several thousands of participants from all over the world to practice and compete in sports and sports for all activities in the best atmosphere and conditions. In the past years it is proven that the World Sport Games are an excellent opportunity to meet and greet international people in a sportive and amicable way.The “Final Invitation” in English and French is available now!

About the World Sports Games – WSG The WSG are a major event held every two years, full of sports, sport for all, cultural exchange and fun. These Games are definitely not multisport games for top athletes, but for all workers and amateurs from different countries and cultures all over the world. Not only the organisation of competitions is in the foreground, but also organizing a huge festival. The objectives are the gathering of sports friends, as a worldwide family to advance the making of friendships, the exchange of information, know-how and experiences within the specific sport or even sports-overlapping.

The WSG are open for all amateur sports-athletes with raising numbers of participants each edition and we welcome member & non-member organisations, partners, governmental bodies, trade unions and companies from all over the world. The history of the WSG of almost 100 years proves this event has “Olympic allures”. It provides the participants a real international sports week with additional touristic and cultural content they will never forget.
